Privacy Policy

skAIT ("we," "our," or "us") is a managed service platform built for MSPs (Managed Service Providers). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use skAIT at skaitops.com.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly:

Account information: name, email address, company name, and password when you register.
Client data: contact details, device information, tickets, invoices, and other records you enter or import into skAIT.
Integration credentials: OAuth tokens and API keys for third-party services you connect (e.g. Microsoft 365, QuickBooks, MSP360). These are stored encrypted using AES-256-GCM.
Usage data: log data, feature usage, and IP addresses for security and service improvement.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide, operate, and improve the skAIT platform.
To authenticate users and enforce tenant-level data isolation.
To sync data with third-party services you have explicitly connected.
To send transactional emails (ticket notifications, invoices) on your behalf.
To respond to support requests you submit.

We do not sell your data or your clients' data to any third party.

3. No Sale or Lease of Personal Information

Your personal information will not be sold or leased to any third party. We do not engage in the sale, rental, or transfer of personal data for consideration.

4. Mobile & SMS Data

If you provide a mobile phone number and consent to receive SMS messages from skAIT, the following applies:

Your mobile information will not be shared with any third party for marketing purposes.
Your mobile opt-in data and consent records are used solely to send the specific message types you consented to (e.g., account notifications, support responses, service updates).
We do not sell, lease, or transfer mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data to any third party.
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

5. Data Isolation & Multi-Tenancy

Each MSP tenant's data is strictly isolated using row-level security at the database layer. No tenant can access another tenant's data. We use PostgreSQL row-level security policies and per-request tenant scoping to enforce this.

6. Third-Party Integrations

When you connect a third-party service (QuickBooks Online, Microsoft 365, MSP360, Slack, etc.), skAIT accesses only the scopes you authorize and only to perform the specific sync functions you enable. We store access tokens encrypted at rest. You can disconnect any integration at any time from the Integrations settings page.

7. Data Retention

Your data is retained for the duration of your subscription. If you cancel, we retain data for 30 days to allow export, after which it is permanently deleted. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data: TLS in transit, AES-256-GCM for stored secrets, and access controls limiting who can reach production systems. We do not store plaintext passwords or API keys.

9. Cookies

skAIT uses a single session JWT stored in browser memory (not persistent cookies) for authentication. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking scripts.

10. Children's Privacy

skAIT is a business-to-business service not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify account owners by email of material changes. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
